Works great and fast!
Scanned a library of 34,000 images in remarkably short time (on a brand new mid-range iMac) and identified duplicates, some with only one extra, some with multiples. From there, I used auto-select to select based on a rule set it offered but I could modify. Then I said to trash the duplicates. It walked me through steps of opening Photos, selecting All Photos, then it created an album with the extra images. It was ultimately my task to delete them at that point. Photos moves “deleted” images to a “recently deleted” album where they are kept for 30 days before being automatically deleted. It shows under each image how many days are remaining. So I would say it works as expected, does what it should, and was fast besides! I don’t know that it would find images that are different sizes or crops, but for a free app, it seems to do the job well and safely.
