Works pretty well. Filters Need a Tweak
I downloaded and tried the app which worked pretty well. It took a minute to play with the interface to understand what I was doing, then it was pretty straight forward. So not bad. I used it to find dupes in my folders and then my library. The interface allows a quick comparison of duplicates along with the data of the selected photo making the review a little easier. There are preferences for filter selections which are set up pretty well, save for the one I wanted to change. It defaults to keeping the lastest copy of the photo. I wanted to keep the earliest. Unchecking the filter didn’t do that. It continued to choose the latest. Fortunately, you can command-click on multiple photos and right click on the group to mass unmark and mark to reverse this. I didn’t have a large group of photos that I was working with, but if I did, this could have become tedious. Other than that, it worked well and had a nice set of directions that popped up at the end to help locate the duplicates in Photos that were isolated for deletion.
