It’s the app to clean Duplicates. The best part is that you don’t need to have the same name to recognize duplicates. It just do what it have to. And the best of all? It’s Free!

I liked being able to choose all but the first or last duplicate. It was very quick.

Just ran the app for the first time. It is super fast, has a nice glossy view and it is fun to watch as it locates pictures in the side bar and updates the number of duplicates and the savings. Super easy to use.

I’ve tried it before with folders of pictures and wasn’t impressed. Just tried it for the first time with Photos app and it did a better job than photosweeper app that I purchased before. Looks like a great app to me. Hope it will help me in the future.

Worked exactly as described - note you have to go into Photos to do the actual deletion (it doesn’t delete them for you, just puts them all in a folder for you to delete). My library on here is only around 6000 photos - on a 2015 MBP it scanned and completed in under 10 seconds.

With close to 7000 photos I was dreading the exercise of trying to do this on my own and this app made it so easy.

Helpful and time-saving. Does exactly what it claims to do.

I just downloaded it and tried it on a folder of car images. Folder had 2200 images. It found 153 duplicates. A click of a button to mark the duplicatess, then click Trash Marked. Done. Slick.Be sure to take a look at the Prefences for the program, as there are soem settings you can tweet to comare images (meta data, file size etc) and you can prioritize the settings as to what to validate first.

It’s just OK. In my library of 11,000 photos, it identifed 49 duplicates in photos and videos. I know there are more because I can manually walk through the photo library and see them - most remaining duplicates are video files which I understand are a little harder to identifiy as duplicates because a lot of video files lack metadata for comparison. It’s worth trying this first, then switch to manual duplicate removal. Have fun…
